Service user and carer involvement in online interprofessional learning during the COVID-19 pandemic

Medicine has been slow to establish involvement of experts by experience, but has shown that all curricula lack theoretically informed perspectives (Regan de Bere and Nunn, 2016; Spencer, 2016), while nursing and social work have made early advances, especially in the field of mental health nursing and social work (Downe et al, 2007). There is also evidence of progress in midwifery (Warren et al, 2017).
